Terms of Service
Please Read All Of The Following Before Continuing.
Time Frame
You can expect a draft of your design generally within 6-7 business days from the day I begin your project. Revisions of your design may take 4-5 business days depending on the intricacy of your request. Once the design has been approved, I reserve the right to place my logo on the design until payment is made. Your website will only be available to you personally to view; once payment has been received I will release it for public viewing. Please note that all time frames are only estimates, and ultimately I will take whatever time necessary to provide you with a quality product. Once we have held the Initial Consultation, I ask that you check your email (or social network messages) often. If you do not respond in a timely manner (no more than 4-5 days) will result in your design being put on hold. Other projects will take precedence should this happen and I may not resume your project for up to 3 weeks from the date you are ready to move forward.
Payment
Methods of payment I currently accept are Cash, Check, or a PayPal payment through my website. Please do not make any payments until you are sure you would like to move forward after the Initial Consultation and the Sample Designs. If you are pleased with the Sample Designs, you will then proceed to pay the current amount for the product you are requesting. Once I have started your project, if you do not respond to emails (or communications via social networks) for more than 30 days, I will terminate your project without notice. Should this occur and you request to resume your project at any time in the future, it will be at my discretion and charges may apply.
Website Designs
Management of your website is defined as but not limited to the creation, addition, editing, rearrangement, removal, proof-reading, or migration of content. Your Content is defined as anything that is intended to be managed by you as the user through the Blogger or WordPress Dashboard, including but not limited to posts, pages, navigation links, widgets, media, comments, categories, tags, plugins and general settings. During the creation process of the web design I am willing to instruct clients on how to add or manage content.
Identities/Logos
If you order a logo design, you will retain full and unlimited rights to the artwork, and you may use it in any way you see fit. Your logo will be designed and formatted into a high-resolution PNG which is standard and often requested among most design and printing companies.
Compatibility
My designs are tested for browser compatibility, which means that I create them to function properly on the current versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Google Chrome when your new web design launches. I cannot guarantee that your design will function properly on outdated or newer versions of any web browser. Your website is automatically conformed from start to be mobile device compatible. Mobile-responsive designs are tested on the most current versions of the Apple and Android devices. However these are not guaranteed to display properly in outdated or newer versions of any device or operating system. Your website will always function best on a desktop/laptop computer or on a device viewing it in landscape orientation. Websites I design are both compatible with Blogger and WordPress interfaces.
Acknowledgement
Every design created remains my credited and artistic property. As the client, you are given the right to use the design on your website upon project completion. A credit linking back to Graphica Designs will be placed on the bottom of the website in your footer, and must remain intact as long as my design is present online. I reserve the right to use your design in my business portfolio and for other promotional purposes.
Backups
I am not liable for any loss or damage to your blog or website while installing your design or any time before or after installation. To this day I have never lost or damaged a client’s content, but it can happen. I do not guarantee to have your design files backed up for any length of time. If for any reason your web or blog design is lost or damaged, I will fix or reinstall it for a minimal fee if I have your files available.
Privacy
Your privacy is very important to me. Often I may request your username and password to various accounts while working with you. This information is not shared with anyone for any reason and is used the purpose of completing your project. You are welcome to temporarily change your password while working with me.
